Doctrinal Statement

ALETHEIA MINISTRIES was co-founded and incorporated in 1999 by Daniel Ray Miller and Connie Lee Winterstein. Aletheia’s motto is found in John 8:32:

“And you will know the truth,
and the truth will make you free.”

The Greek word ALETHEIA is translated by our English word TRUTH. ALETHEIA MINISTRIES with Royal Family Women is dedicated to teaching, preaching, and living out the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible. Ever since the fall of Adam & Eve, God has revealed to us His Transforming Reversals of Fortune. God’s Word constantly expresses the message and the means of turning men and women away from darkness, idolatry and slavery into the sons of holy light and true freedom.

The most important words of scripture carry the prefix RE–: Regenerate, Redeem, Reconcile, Rebuild, Restore, Renew, Resurrect, and many others. God, in His untiring Grace, has seen fit to make over what was marred at the very beginning of His Creation. Since God is a relational being, fully intent on adding humans made in His image to His Family, the covenants and dispensations of the Old & New Testaments are witnesses to God’s persistent pursuit in winning us back, again and again, to His Heart, His Home. He is truly the hound of heaven.

A summary of God’s Transforming Reversals of Fortune (TRFs) are expressed in the basic doctrinal articles listed below. The articles are only a cursory list of God’s thorough, creative pursuit of His creatures covering the entire human history of the world. ALETHEIA MINISTRIES exists to share the wonders of God’s Sovereign Call as we Respond in Grace. We seek out the lost, the dissatisfied, the struggling, the humble, the misfit, who long for answers, for meaning, for true happiness, for vigorous significance in daily living.

God not only reverses our destiny of death, but, transforms us into a new spiritual species capable of eternal life and enjoying Him forever. The story of God and man in the Bible is designed to transform our human tragedy into God’s Romantic comedy. Isaiah 59-66, among others, presents a grand sweep of the Gospel’s TRFs.

This is the no-nonsense Christian life that ALETHEIA aspires to declare in all its ministries.


Doctrinal Statement & Articles
  1. We believe The scriptures, both Old and New Testaments of the Bible, to be the infallible, inspired Word of God completely revealing God’s sovereign, authoritative will for Salvation, for godliness, for all of life’s challenges.

  2. We believe in one God with one essence, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: the Trinity of God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit, who relationally rule the universe in perfect love, righteousness and justice.

  3. We believe that Jesus Christ, having been conceived of The Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true man in one unique person forever. Jesus Christ lived an impeccable life, dying on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. He arose from the dead, ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of the throne of the Father where He is presently interceding on our behalf as our High Priest and Defense Attorney.

  4. We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ during this church age, by convicting unbelievers and regenerating, indwelling, sealing, instructing, empowering and mentoring all believers for holy service to God.

  5. We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through the seducing deceit of the serpent, speaking for the father of lies, Satan himself, mankind also fell into rebellion and sin, breaking the original intimate relationship with God that can only be restored by grace through faith, the spiritual regeneration of The Holy Spirit.

  6. We believe that in spite of the fallen nature of the world, God’s Common Grace extends to all peoples in all times, providing his creation and creatures with life, with logistical grace, with free offers of salvation which may be accepted or rejected.

  7. We believe that only the atoning work of Jesus Christ on the Cross and His Resurrection is sufficient for Salvation and Justification and that for all who believe, they become His eternal Saints, the Church of God, growing inexorably into the final Kingdom of God.

  8. We believe that ALETHEIA MINISTRIES along with the Royal Family Women are composed of persons who have all been regenerated through saving faith in Jesus Christ and are united together as fellow priests and ambassadors in the ministries and vision of ALETHEIA.

  9. We believe in the personal, imminent, premillennial Return of Jesus Christ to pretribulationally Rescue His Bride, the Church of Jesus Christ.

  10. We believe in the physical Millennium of our Lord Jesus Christ when He will rule the world through His Saints for a thousand years with the Restored Israel as the focus of His Glory.

  11. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer into everlasting happiness with Jesus Christ in heaven, of the unbeliever into the everlasting physical punishment in hell.

  12. We believe these basic doctrines clearly point to God’s patient intention of creating His Own Romantic Comedy from out of the tragedy of human and angelic history.
