is a musical group performing various genres of music formed in 1998 by two people who never, ever wanted to sing or play again. Amazing how we forget how much fun some things are. We began by singing for very, very small groups performing with slightly less than adequate equipment.

OW WE GOT OUR NAME!

e wanted an unusual name, yet, one that definitely fits our group. Even though we do music from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s, our blood still flows and bleeds red. Since we also do gospel music, Revelation 4 identifies us with the person on the throne, God. His appearance is compared to two precious stones. Jasper is a crystal, that is, the color of light. The “sardius” stone, named for the city of Sardis where it was found, is
